I think the whole event will most probably have 3 parts.
Part 1 : Catch a movie/ Arcade/ Bowl etc
Part 2: Eat at Ikea
Part 3: Catch a movie/ Arcade/ Bowl etc
So if you don't want / cant make it for part 1 or 3, you go later or leave earlier respectively.
